Warangal MP S Rajaiah mockery on ‘Rayala-Telangana’ proposal

Warangal MP S Rajaiah on Tuesday described the proposal of `Rayala-Telangana’ as a creation of media.

Talking to media persons, Rajaiah said that the media highlighted the `Rayala-Telangana’ proposal to divert the attention of leaders away from Telangana statehood demand. He expressed confidence that the Congress high command would take a favourable decision over the Telangana State once the elections to Presidential post ends on July 19. He said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi, AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress in-charge of state affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad have already focused their attention on the State after the drubbing of party in the recent by-elections.

Responding to increase in medical seats in Seemandhra medical colleges, he said that he had already recommended to the government and Medical Council of India to increase the seats in Kakatiya Medical college from 150 to 200. He also demanded that the government speed up the airport construction works at Mamanoor in Warangal district.
